Dave Berzonsky and Estela Knott, husband and wife team, lead the Lua Project as well as Blue Ridge Music Together, a wonderful school for little ones and their parents wanting to make music a bigger part of their lives.
Lua is a cross cultural project bringing together American/Appalachian music and Central/South American music.

This reissue from 2004 is a great introduction, covering a lot of musical ground in its 12 tracks, with Estela's lovely singing and great playing from all involved.

Lua is currently working on a new project, so keep your eyes and ears open.
